Pilar Pallarés vant i år den gjeve Nasjonale Poesiprisen i Spania i år. Hun vant for den anerkjente boken «Tempo fósil». 

Det spanske kulturdepartementet begrunnet prisen slik: «For transmitting with experience, in a lucid and torn time, with deep wisdom and emotion, the experience of the loss and destruction of the lived, of what configures us, from a landscape consciousness as a living body».
